We provide free haircare services for youth in foster care, shelters, and underserved communities.​

Children begin forming opinions about their appearance and others’ at a young age, and hair plays a key role in how they see themselves and feel accepted.
Unkempt or unhealthy hair can make kids targets of teasing, which is directly linked to anxiety, depression, and lower academic performance.
When kids learn to care for their hair, they also build daily routines, self-worth, and a sense of control that is important for managing emotions and stress.
